Our Zante Daily Cruise Around the Island Details

Departure from Zante Port 08:45am

Our excursion starts at 08.45 in the morning from the port of Zakynthos. Once you’ve found the right seat for you and you’re comfortable, let’s get started! Leaving behind the beautiful view of Zakynthos town, we head North, passing the sandy beaches of Tsilivi, Alykes and Alykanas and soon we reach our first famous beach, Xygia. Don’t be intimidated by the name, the beach is known for its healing waters, since sulfur is secreted in the area!

Stop for swimming 30 Minutes.

Then, be ready, as soon as you see the picturesque harbor of Ag. Nikolaou, because the Blue Caves are next, the most famous caves of our island! That’s why we won’t pass them like this, you will have time to see them and photograph them extensively!
Once we pass the caves and the northern tip of our island, Skinari, we want your full attention, because a landscape of incredible natural beauty awaits you, full of rocks and pine trees and hidden beaches!

And hidden there in the middle of this enchanting landscape is the coveted beach of Navagio, which always takes your breath away! The waters have a rare turquoise color and – we are not exaggerating – the whole landscape with the steep rocks, the seductive waters, the white sandy beach and the shipwrecked “Panagiotis” in the middle, will win you over from the first moment, when we enter this creek here. Our boat stops 40m from the shore, so you can enjoy and capture this enchanting landscape with your camera.

We continue towards the west coast of the island, where the landscape, although more rocky, is just as impressive! We visit the beautiful port of Porto Vromi to see the anthropomorphic formation on its rocks, the famous “face of Poseidon”.
Moving on we reach our second stop for a swim at Koralli beach near the village of Koiliomeno. Enjoy the limestone rocks while bathing in the blue waters, in a spot where until now only the locals visited.
The closer we get to the southern part of the island, the more caves there are. One of them will make a special impression on you and will leave you with impressive memories, as it is not only the largest cave on the island, it is also spacious enough for our ship to enter. So our captain (weather permitting) will sail inside the Cave of Agalas, so that you can see the wild hues of both the water and its walls.

Next to an arch created by nature, in the southernmost cave complex, which is also home to the Monachus-Monachus seal, in the Keri Caves, there is the Oasis beach, which will be our next stop. So we stop in its crystal clear almost transparent waters for our last relaxing swim…
We pass by the bay of Laganas, where we see from very close the exotic island that adorns it, Marathonisi – which is also one of the preferences of the Caretta-Caretta turtle, when it is time to leave offspring. If we are lucky these wonderful sea creatures might do us a favor and appear in a photo or two, have your cameras ready!
Then we see the second islet, Pelouso, and sailing again towards the port of Polis, we see the endless sandy beaches in the area of Vasilikos, such as Gerakas, Porto Zoro, Ag. Nikolaos et al.
At 16.45 we arrive back at the port of Zakynthos.

Unique experience. I am glad we chose this particular cruise. If you want a day full of beautiful images, in a spotlessly clean and decent environment then it's definitely worth a try. The weather was excellent, it contributed to the realization of our cruise in the best possible conditions and the staff (and especially the captain) showed their professionalism and generously shared their positive energy!!! Thank you!

The cruise trip provides great value for money - 35€ gives you two amazing beaches, a small port city and beautiful tour around the islands... BUT the cheap price comes a the expense of crowded boat, high beverage and drinks prices and rushed timetable. I would say the trip is definitely worth a try, but you should be prepared for the rest. I would like to see a more compact trip(one beach is enough) with more time put aside for the beach and port visits.

Cruise was nice but loud music on the ship was horrible. That is the big minus.Tour was:- Egremni (but beach only for ships, beautifull and refreshing, about 1 hour)- Porto Katsiki beach (300m from the beach, swimming around ship was not good experience, too many people, 15 min)- Kefalonia - small nice town with shops, small beacj, 1 hour stop- Itaka - wild beach, fantastic water, blue sea, very enjoyable swimming- Cave (I forgot name) - nothing special, 5 min- passed near Scorpios island, no stopping

A wonderful experience I loved it even though we had clouds in our journey. Lovely places. I suggest this daily cruise. This cruise had also a lunch with soublaki and tzatziki. And the captain was very explanatory with all the places that we went through.

I have been to a few boat cruises but this one definitely tops them all. It is extremely organised to the smallest detail and the crew are very considerate. Captain Kostas is very entertaining and informative at the same time and if there’s anything you haven’t considered or thought through, the crew will try to find a solution. I will definitely be taking this cruise again in my next visit to Lefkada!

We would definitely recommend this cruise for those who want to visit a few of the most beautiful beaches in Greece (Egremni, Porto Katsiki, Afales, Scorpios). It’s crowded but there is a seat for everyone and each boat goes on a different part of the beach. The captain is very chatty but has good intentions and gives interesting information. We wouldn’t recommend going for the €40 option with food included but the canteen prices are very reasonable, for example, €0.50 for a small bottle of water.Overall, we really enjoyed the cruise which is a must for your visit in Lefkada.
