Zakynthos este a treia insul\u0103 ca m\u0103rime dintre Insulele Ionice, dup\u0103 Corfu \u0219i Kefalonia, ocup\u00e2nd o suprafa\u021b\u0103 de 406 km p\u0103tra\u021bi. Linia de coast\u0103 are o lungime de 123 km, iar forma insulei seam\u0103n\u0103 cu un triunghi neregulat, av\u00e2nd la baz\u0103 golful Laganas \u0219i la v\u00e2rf capul Skinari, la nord.<\/p>
