The two founders of the cruising company Seven Islands Cruises are Spiros and Kostas Ktenas, brothers from a family of four siblings. Their father was a vegetable and fish salesman who owned a small shop and a small boat. In their teenage years, Kostas and Spiros began taking Greek tourists to Skorpios. At that time, there was no foreign tourism, and Nydri was a very small and simple village. When their father passed away, they continued with the same small boat. One became two, two became three, and so on.
Today, the fleet consists of eight boats, ranging from small to large vessels. With over 35 years of experience, they have developed excellent knowledge of the area—the Ionian Sea, their backyard. They know all the private beaches, the famous ones, the villages, and the history of the island. Most importantly, they value hospitality and always ensure that their guests enjoy an unforgettable day at sea.
Every year, the fleet is expanded through the purchase or construction of new boats in order to meet the expectations of an ever-changing market. This ongoing growth has resulted in a modern fleet of eight boats in different sizes. Seven Islands Cruises has become the largest cruising company in Greece. The brothers’ experience, nautical expertise, warm hospitality, and kind nature create a complete and memorable experience for the thousands of visitors who travel to the island of Lefkada each year.
